I don’t think my standards are too high. With the world’s population being what it is, certainly there is someone for me. Right?
Here’s a simple exercise. For the sake of argument, let’s assume the US population is 302 million. Women are roughly 51% of the population, so let’s work with a figure of 154 million. Below are my various standards, and the percentage of the population that would qualify.
That leaves me with almost 3500 people! My standards are just fine.
Now, you might argue that I didn’t take into account any availability or interest data, like marriage status or sexual orientation.
