À bout de souffle

When I was little, my allergies were downright debilitating. As I've gotten older, and moved to the harsh, dry desert, they've improved. Now it's a seasonal thing, mostly.

When the weather changes from cool to hot or hot to cool, my nose gets lazy, my sinuses back up, I get horrendous headaches and have to breath through my mouth. Sometimes I can clear out the sinuses and thwart the headaches with a special cayenne tea, sometimes not. Other times it half works, and my nasal passages are in a sort of musical limbo.

Damn.
