For the most part, Dagon is understanding of my having to work and busies himself with the pursuits of puppyhood (eating furniture, digging up the rug, hiding my clothes, leaving nose-prints on the windows, sleeping).
Sometimes, though, such superficial activities don't suffice and Dagon chooses instead to dedicate himself to my attention with the intensity of a machine, beyond reason, and almost beyond bribes.
Like today.
His itinerary included:
- bark
- run around in circles
- bark
- eat Josh's arm
- knock over Josh's coffee
- bark
- hide Josh's shoes
- bark
And so on. It quickly became apparent that if I wanted to get some work done, I'd have to pay the price.
