Jason lives? I hear you ask. _Wasn't he cremated (chronologically) after _Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter?

Sure, that's the official story from Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning, but as Tiffany points out, it is implied that that might not have been the case.

At any rate, Jason is exhumed from his grave by yet another person playing adult Corey Feldman and as it should happen his corpse is struck by lightning, bringing him back to life.
